Hi Rosamund,
I purchased 'Afterwards' as a book to read on a flight, thinking it might be a bit of easy reading and ended up being completely engrossed in it. I have just read 'Sister' and found it to be the same, and have the same startling insights. I read it in one day, as I just couldn't put it down. I felt like the way you described the love Beatrice felt for Tess, was exactly how I feel about my own sister, and your explanations of grief were like you were writing from my own soul. I think you are an absolutely wonderful writer, and I have greatly appreciated your work. I can not wait for what you do next!
All the best, and thank you for sharing what you do.

Dear Rosamund,

I have just finished reading "Sister", and I absolutely loved your lyrical style. It made me think of my own sister and how close we've always been. Thank you for writing such a compelling and intricate tale. I can hardly believe this is your first novel; it is amazing!
I just checked into your website and found out about your next novel "Afterwards" and immediately reserved it at my library (where I had found "Sister").
I look forward to all your future novels and wish you the very best. Thank you for bringing your treasures to our world!

I'm only 155 pages into Afterwards and I am hooked! I can not wait to get on the train for work and at the end of the day to get stuck in, I haven't read Sister but will definitely be purchasing it for my next read.

Thanks for making my train journey's enjoyable even if sometimes I do have to remind myself to breathe!

Well, I cannot express how wonderful Rosamund Lupton is, I cannot wait until she brings out another fabulous book, I read Sister and thought it was good, Afterwards just goes beyond good, the style of the writing and the way it drew me in was fantastic I literally could not put the book down. Thank you Rosamund and hurry up with another!

Rosamund Lupton is by far the best I have ever read. I ordered Afterwards before it was released after reading Sister. I wasnt disappointed. It kept me glued to each page as the story was unfold. Just disappointed that I can't read more. I'm now a bog fan. I can't wait for the next book. Are there any plans for the books to become films? They'd be box office hits I'm sure!

Thank you so much for your comment Angela, I was very moved by it.
Good luck with your first book - mine took years and many rewrites before it was published, so keep going!
very best wishes

Hi Louanne, if you go to the Bookclub tab on the home page (which we've recently done) it has questions for book groups. Hope that helps!
